The furore pre and post said programme was actually quite invigorating as it proved the great British public are still emotive and passionate about their politics and the fact that Mr.G was given a rough ride, which he seemed unable to counter, was proof extremists of whatever political persuasion will never have it all their own way in the multi cultural Britain of today …

On a lighter note Jenson Button won the Formula 1 Drivers World Championship … well done to him … bizarrely the same week that another individual accused of having fascist undertones is steeping down as president of Formula 1’s governing body the FIA.

The left wingers are also flexing their political muscle at present with disputes and strikes in the Post Office, the Fire Service, and here in Leeds … the Bin Men!
